Paul T. Granlund (October 6,Minneapolis, Minnesota – September 15,Mankato, Minnesota) was an American sculptor. His creative career spanned more than 50 years and more than different works. Most of his work is figurative and made from bronze. His patrons included colleges, hospitals, Lutheran churches, and other institutions.

Minnesota Sculptor Paul Granlund. Sculptor Paul Granlund was a Minnesota native and the son of a Lutheran pastor. Following academics in Minnesota and Michigan, he was a Guggenheim Fellow in Rome, working under the professional mold maker Mutzi, who taught him how to remove the plaster mold from models.

He built his studio and foundry there, and worked with generations of students as the sculptor-in-residence from Granlund was widely read and interested math, science, religion, linguistics, music, and sports, and his work reflected the connections he made between these diverse fields.

Dave Granlund drew cartoons on a freelance basis for publications in the 60s, and froma he was a full-time political and sports cartoonist for The South Middlesex News (MetroWest Daily News) in Framingham, MA. Dave first became syndicated in with NEA-United Media, appearing in over newspapers nationally.
